While Watching "Life as We Know It"...

...I couldn't help but feel terrible for Katherine Heigl. You know you're watching a bad, bad movie when you spend the entire film wishing it was Heigl who died at the beginning so we could get more of the luscious (and oh so warm in her few scenes here) Christina Hendricks.

Anyone else saw this movie? Did you enjoy it? When will Heigl stop playing the same damn characters? If you were really bad at something, say acting, would you keep trying?

I didn't see it. I agree with you though, I wish she'd stop playing the same characters. It get's painful to watch after awhile.

I haven't seen it either but you know exactly her character before even sniffing a frame of that movie anyways. It would behoove her to play some other type of character really soon...

Yeah it was very predictable but cute enough for the type of movie it was. I enjoyed it. I thought Heigl did a great job and she is always very watchable. I dont subscribe to the hate bandwagon. She is a very talented actress - who I just hope will chose some better projects. And to suggest she is bad at acting is ridiculous and pretty pathetic to be honest.

Brit: painful is the right word for her, she looks like she's suffering while playing these people.

Castor: I agree! Or find something that suits her more, perhaps a career change?

Mandy: I don't hate her and it's not a hate bandwagon, she's just a bad actress making very bad movies. If you enjoy her work then good for you.

She is very grating in every movie. I've avoided seeing it, but I definitely feel like I'd be in your camp with Hendricks. When I saw her little blip of a moment in the trailer, I asked myself - how has she avoided becoming a rom-com queen since Mad Men's explosion??

Luke: thank you! I know man, Hendricks should be huge by now! She's such a phenomenal actress. I think the "Mad Men" ladies should be used more outside the show actually.
