While Watching "The Harvey Girls"...

...I realized I'm always surprised when I realize Angela Lansbury was young at some point in life.
I always think of her as being old.

So true! She's always amazing though, at any age.

I have to share a story about this movie - I played a recital in Atchison Kansas, like in the song from the movie, "The Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe". When I told my piano teacher I was playing in Atchison, he went on to tell me all about this movie and how Judy Garland filmed that scene in one take after watching a body double do the routine. I'm not sure if the story is true, but it was kind of awesome that my piano teacher was talking all about that. hahaha sorry, just had to mention that!

That's a lovely anecdote, thanks for sharing and yes, she's amazing at any age!

You just made me laugh out loud, it reminds me of when I watched "Gaslight" for the first time it was so difficult for me to reconcile her voice (which is oddly unchanged) to her youthful character, freaky.

This won't really have success, I believe this way.
