Looks Promising!

...but then again the Woodsman always does.

Oh gosh, I hope it's better than the critics have suggested. The cast is just too sublime for it not to be. And is it strange that I'm most excited for Gemma Jones and Celia Imrie?

I hope so too Luke!
Gemma looks fantastic! I hope she's awesome but honestly the whole cast looks so good, even the usually dull Antonio Banderas seems to make sense.

Love the casting but it looks like Woody Allen is basically redoing some of his own classic material. Still want to see it though.

Is it the same guy doing the voiceover as in Vicky Christina Barcelona?

CS: hasn't he always though?
His magic is in making his usual themes seem fresh.

Runs: I think so! I love his voice!

jose: that's exactly what i was going to reply to CS.

and yes! a new woody is always endearing to me, even if everyone else trashes it! most people called "scoop" inept, for example, but i simply love woodsman and johanson's chemistry! okay i'm biased when it comes to woody allen movies, i just love everything he does.

Ho: Me too! But you know I'm very critical so even I can see how Scoop and Whatever Works haven't really measured up to being his greatest work.
Still even crappy Allen is better than most things out there.
