I know everyone has mentioned this before, but watching "An Education" I too thought this was a jazz standard. What a delightful surprise to discover it's an original song...so damn sultry.
It's a pity that it probably won't be nominated. I know Duffy's song only plays over the credits but I was convinced that was an old song, turns out it's an original too.
