Oh man!

I'm like the only person left in the world that still likes Gwyneth Paltrow.
So you can imagine my joy upon finding out that she's been cast to star alongside Nicole Kidman in "The Danish Girl" (she's replacing Charlize Theron).
She will play wife to Kidman's pre-op transsexual in what already was one of my most awaited upcoming movies.
Can you imagine both Gwyn and Nic back in the Oscar game?
The movie sounds baity as fuck, with the director, the plot and with these two on board it's just set to be something remarkable.
I'm already salivating while I think of what they will wear to the 2012 Oscars when they both are nominated for this movie...
Ok a man can dream right?
Read the whole casting story here.

I think she is a terrific actress. I don't know if you saw 'Two Lovers' but that is easily one of the year's most underrated films. Paltrow is terrific alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

I have not seen it yet, but it's been on my queue since February. I have to get to it ASAP cause I really do love her.
Glad to hear someone else does!

I was able to catch in On Demand a while back, so I got lucky. It really is worth watching, so when you get the chance, watch it.

I also loved her in Se7en. Of course that was primarily a male-dominated movie, but she was exceptional in her supporting role.

I loved the cool Gwyneth of the 90's, Great Expectations is one of my faves...the new, superior mom version is boring as hell.

I know! She should stop being so self righteous and get her ass back to acting.
I was watching "Shakespeare in Love" earlier today and loved how fresh she was. I know she still has it in her though, she just really needs to stop blogging or maybe wait for her kids to go to college and make a big comeback...

I still love her. I always find her so interesting to watch, and with Kidman? it's like two of the most hated actresses on the planet teaming up to blow everyone away with a movie from the film geek's newest saint (the director of Let the Right One In).
