In theory I love the idea behind this poster, yet looking at it I'm not sure I like how it was executed. I think what bugs me is Owen Wilson. When you have Marion, Carla and Rachel in a movie and you still make Owen the center of your poster, you really must like him.
Love that he's in full Woody outfit though.
She is the only reason why I plan on even coming near a theater where they're playing this.
What do you think of these two?

I don't care what anyone says, I don't care how crappy the last installment was. I'm counting on Pe and Rob to make the latest installment of POTC watchable.
While I don't necessarily disagree with you about the Midnight in Paris poster, I still think it's gorgeous. Now, put Rachel or Marion in place of Owen Wilson and this would probably be a 10/10 ahah ;)
I do like the character posters for POTC, but I doubt it's going to be very different from the last couple of Franchise entries - just hopefully more focussed.
There's something very odd about the Midnight in Paris poster - I want to like it but the mix of styles seems awfully quirky.
Oh Jose you hit it right on the head with the Paris poster. That cast is FLAWLESS minus Owen Wilson.
I'm really hoping that Penelope can bring her Nine funny to this Pirates installment. It could be total throwaway nonsense otherwise. We already know Depp's schtick, so it'll hardly be groundbreaking at this point.
Oh, and I'll throw in my hat with the "WTF Owen Wilson" crew. The man is so hard to watch in most anything... and then there's Cotillard can make even hamming it up majorly as La Mome artful somehow. Waste.
Andrew: here's hoping...
Castor: uh huh. Honestly Owen isn't pretty at all.
Runs: yup, too quirky for its own good.
Robert: *hi5*
Luke: you know I'm biased about Pe. So I'm sure she'll rock haha.
Poor Owen but you're right. I'm curious about what Woody saw in him though.
which two are we talking about? jeje...the bottom two are amazing!
It will not succeed in reality, that's exactly what I think.
